Our core matching engine is built upon the same cookie serving principles that power large advertising networks like Google and Yahoo!, except that Monster focuses on job ads. We inspire people to improve their lives by showing them the jobs that can take them there. Career Ad Network uses anonymous Web browsing and job search behavior to show ads that are relevant to Seekers, regardless of the webpage they are viewing. This behavioral cookie tracking technology works anywhere Seekers spend time within Monster's Career Ad Network of sites, whether they are actively looking for a job or simply open to exploring new opportunities. For example, a salesperson from Boston and a Java Developer from San Francisco can be viewing the same world news page at the same time, but Monster Career Ad Network will show different ads to each of these viewers. The salesperson sees sales job ads in Boston and the Java Developer sees software job ads in San Francisco. This is called “Behavioral Ad Targeting” and is the foundation on which Career Ad Network functions."
