TrackerBlock for Internet Explorer
The Internet Explorer browser has controls built in that make it easy to block ad companies from tracking you using cookies. To use them, you need to import a list of those companies. You can do this in two steps.
- Step 1 - Choose which kinds of companies you want to block
- Step 2 - Import your list into Internet Explorer
1254 companies not subject to oversight by the Network Advertising Initiative.
Click on your choice above and save the privacychoice file in a place you can find it easily (like your Desktop).
Due to technical limitations in Internet Explorer, blocking all cookies for some tracking companies interferes with the operation of their other services. Not all tracking cookies from these companies, including Yahoo!, AOL and MSN, are blocked. For more complete blocking, use TrackerBlock for Firefox.
